We recently completed a detached ADU for a client in Santa Clarita, CA. The client wanted to add an additional rental income property to their home. We built the detached ADU and finished it with a custom design. The client chose us because of our competitive pricing and our craftsmanship.

The project included:

– Removing the existing structure and grading the site
– Installing a new foundation and framing
– Building the two-story detached ADU
– Installing a new roof and siding

We faced some challenges on this project, but we were able to overcome them by working closely with the client. One of the challenges was that the client had some specific design ideas that we had to work with. Another challenge was that the site was on a slope, which made it difficult to get heavy equipment on site to do the work. We were able to solve these problems by using smaller equipment like skid loaders, bobcats, and excavators.
