Recently, one of our clients hired us to build an ADU on their property. We were responsible for the ground up construction of this project. When the ADU was completed, the client wanted to apply stucco to the exterior of the building.

The first step in applying stucco was to prepare the surface of the ADU with a layer of primer. After this layer dried, we applied a layer of adhesive to the surface of the building. The adhesive was then topped with a layer of stucco, which was then smoothed out using a trowel before it hardened.

We encountered some challenges when applying stucco to this project. The first challenge was that there were several cracks in the concrete that needed to be filled before applying stucco. The second challenge was that there were some areas where there were gaps between the stucco and the wall. To solve these problems, we used a putty knife to fill the cracks and a trowel to fill the gaps.

The client was very satisfied with our work on this project. The stucco applied to the ADU has a nice, smooth finish and is aesthetically pleasing. We are happy to have completed this project for our client and hope they continue to use us for future projects.
